What is WOW24?

Great question! WOW (short for World of Work) is the ultimate workplace experience conference hosted by Appspace. The goal is to bring together customers, partners, and industry experts to showcase the future of the workplace experience and share strategies and best practices for improving engagement, workplace management, and cultural alignment.

When and where is WOW24?

Scottsdale, Arizona at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. The conference runs September 23 (kickoff at noon MST) through September 25 (ends at noon MST).

Is there a virtual option?

WOW24 is in-person only this year. Don’t miss out – register now!

Dress code?

Business casual throughout the conference. Think dress pants, jeans, skirts, blouses, and sportcoats. Conference rooms can get chilly, so bring a blazer, sweater, or light jacket. Temperatures drop after sunset, so pack layers for comfort. Some events are outdoors on grass and gravel (so you may want to bring comfy shoes)!

How much does WOW24 cost?

WOW24 is just $99. All proceeds go to Think Big for Kids, a charity dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for young people. Founded in 2016 by Appspace CEO Tony DiBenedetto, Think Big for Kids equips students with the career guidance, mentorship, and skills they need to thrive anywhere.

Registration

I can’t find my registration confirmation email. What do I do?

No worries! You can manage your WOW24 registration here. Click the link that says “Manage your registration”, then click “Forgot your confirmation number?” After that, enter your email address to have the email resent.

How can I make changes to my registration?

You can manage or change your registration here. Just log in via the “Manage your registration” link using your email address and confirmation number. Email wow@appspace.com if you run into issues.

What are the registration hours and location?

You’ll find registration in the Arizona ballroom. Registration hours are as follows:
Monday, September 23: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. MST
Tuesday, September 24: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. MST

Can I bring a guest?

Each attendee needs their own WOW24 pass (approval by Appspace required).

Can I transfer my conference pass to a colleague?

Absolutely! Email wow@appspace.com with the new attendee’s name and email. (They must work at your same company).

What's the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Here’s the breakdown of our cancellation policy:

  • Changed your mind? Cancel by August 30, 2024 (11:59 p.m. CDT) for a full refund, minus a small 5% processing fee.
  • Can’t make it after the deadline? No worries – your registration fee will automatically roll over to WOW25 (we’ll announce the date and location later in 2024).
  • Important reminders:
    • Let us know through our official cancellation form by the August 30 deadline.
    • Don’t forget to cancel your hotel and travel plans separately.
    • Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or credits for no-shows.
  • Sponsors & exhibitors: Please refer to your specific agreement for cancellation terms.

How to cancel: You can cancel your registration here. Just click the link that says “Manage your registration” and then log in using your email address and confirmation number. Scroll down and near the bottom of the page you’ll see a button that says “Cancel registration”. Click that and complete the cancellation form and you’re all set.

How do I register for sessions?

We highly recommend pre-registering for breakouts due to limited seating. You’ll be able to build your agenda in our conference app this June!

Travel & logistics

When should I arrive and depart?

If you’re in labs or training, arrive the morning of September 23 (labs and training start at 1:00 p.m. MST). Otherwise, arrive midday on September 23 for our kickoff. Sessions end by noon (MST) on September 25.

Where should I stay?

We’ve got a discounted block at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa – book through the registration site! (Rooms are limited).

When is the room reservation block cutoff date?

The hotel room cutoff date is Friday, August 30, 2024, 11:59 p.m. MST. We can’t guarantee rooms will be available past this date. All rooms within the room block are first come, first served.

What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?

Cancel directly with the hotel at least 3 working days before arrival.

Can I extend my trip outside of the conference dates?

Yes, a limited number of shoulder dates are available through our room block at the conference rate three (3) days prior and three (3) days post-conference. Shoulder night room block rates are subject to availability and on a first come first served basis.

Closest airport?

Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX), about 12 miles from the resort.

I’m driving to WOW24. Where can I park?

Valet and self-parking are complimentary at the JW Marriott!

Where can I find information on Scottsdale and things to do?

What is the weather like in Scottsdale in September?

Warm! Expect highs near 100 degrees, dropping into the 70s/60s at night. Indoors can get chilly with air conditioning, so bring a light jacket or sweater for the daytime sessions. And remember, some evening events will be on grass and gravel (so you may want to bring stylish yet comfortable shoes)!

How do I request Visa information?

If you’re traveling internationally and need proof of attendance to get a Visa, get in touch at wow@appspace.com.

Will meals be provided?

Yes! Dinner on Monday and Tuesday, breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday, and lunch on Tuesday.

What accommodations are available for dietary restrictions?

Let us know on your registration form. Contact wow@appspace.com with specific questions.
