Pegasus Release

Pegasus - Appspace

Pegasus: deeper workplace insights, stronger employee connections, and simpler interactions with spaces

We’re kicking off 2025 with one of our largest releases to date: the highly anticipated Pegasus release. It’s loaded with enhancements designed to better understand your workplace, connect your employees, and simplify the way they interact with your physical workplace.

Check out the video below or keep reading to learn about some of the stars of this release.

Device analytics and fleet management intelligence: Ensuring the health and effectiveness of your devices just got easier with enhanced device analytics and fleet management intelligence. Monitor and report on performance by location and gain deeper insights with visual graphs based on device count, status, version, and more.
Dashboard interface displaying device analytics with various charts. Includes a pie chart showing device status (online/offline) and bar graphs of device count by location. Sidebar on the left lists options like Devices, Data, and Settings.
A digital employee handbook page showing an article with graphs and analytics overlays. One overlay displays Impressions 3.5k, +50%, and another shows a line graph comparing Impressions vs Views over time.

Engagement analytics: Get even smarter with engagement analytics. Now publishers and feed owners can measure the pulse of the workforce with data like impressions, reach, engagement rate, and more for posts, stories, and pages. This information allows you to optimize your current content strategy by providing a deeper understanding into your content and how your employees are engaging.

Polls: Capture the thoughts and feedback of your team for better decision making with Polls. Flexible options like multi-choice selections, attachments, and poll duration, make them a great way to promote participation and engagement.
A digital workspace interface shows a user asking about documentation on travel expenses. Another user responds with the location of the documentation. Both messages are labeled with user names, time, and position in the company.
Questions: The Questions post type allows users to seek information from subject matter experts within a community, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing. Viewers can answer questions, vote on the most helpful responses, and highlight the best solution prominently in the post.
Custom-branded mobile app: We’ve taken branding options to the next level. Now you can customize the logo and colors of the Appspace login screen and use your own branded app icon for a truly unique branded experience. And in order to deploy your custom app, Appspace now supports Microsoft Intune and complies with its mobile application management policy requirements.
Smartphone displaying the Appspace sign-in screen with an email address entered in the input field. The screen has a Continue button, and the footer shows a profile image and name, Jane Connor. The app version is 1.5.5.0.
A digital interface displays a floor plan over a blurred calendar. The plan features various colored areas, likely representing different sections or offices. A sidebar provides details for Appspaceplex with resource and visitor information.
Google Calendar plugin: We’ve introduced a new plugin that enhances the Google Calendar user experience with additional capabilities. Give greater context to your facilities and resources with interactive maps, advanced filters, and incorporate your own requirements with checkpoints. Whether it’s a meeting room, desk, huddle space, or even parking spot, Appspace for Google Calendar allows you to quickly find the perfect space.
Watchlists: Prevent unwanted individuals from gaining access to your facilities with watchlists. Create and manage lists of individuals barred from entering the premises and prevent employees from inviting unauthorized individuals with warning messages.
A computer screen showing a form titled Add record with fields for first name, last name, aliases, emails, phone number, description, and reason for blocking. The form has example entries filled in, and a Save button is visible.
Desk with computer monitor displaying a reservation confirmation for Desk 320 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. A small tablet shows Desk Successfully Booked! A keyboard, mouse, and headphones are also on the desk. Striped background.
Logitech Dock Flex support: Appspace now supports automatic reservations with the Logitech Dock Flex for a frictionless hot desking experience. Simply connect your laptop to the dock and a reservation will be created until you end the connection. Plus, the Dock Flex can double as a digital signage display while it’s not being used.
IAdea device certification and LED integration: We’ve introduced built-in integration with IAdea room booking panels, allowing you to reserve rooms with Appspace and indicate availability with synchronized LED lighting. Support extends to IAdea’s XDS-1088-A for Android 7 and 9, as well as the WRP-1000 (version 2), XDS-1078, and XMP-8552 for Android 12.
A wall-mounted digital room display shows Room Available, with a glowing green border. It lists the next meeting at 9:00 AM, organized by John Smith, with options to check in or book in advance. A QR code is present on the screen.

Beyond the stars

We said Pegasus was one of the largest Appspace releases ever and we meant it. It’s jam-packed with dozens of other enhancements to help you create a workplace your employees love:

  • Device report filter updates – Additional filters to the Device Directory report including device group, device license, device tags, connection status, sync status, and registration date
  • Enhanced admin roles for Space Reservation – Only grant access to perform actions within specific locations
  • Room release after check-in timeout – Release rooms if the organizer fails to check in to prevent your spaces from being underutilized
  • Dedicated menu items for Communities, Topics, and Channels – Option to list these items in nav individually rather than rolling them up in the Explore module
  • Community & Topic notifications – Get notified of new activity within communities and when content is published to Topics
A software interface showing updates: device report filters, admin roles for reservations, room check-in alert, community update list, and menus for sections like Home and Channels. Illustrations and text highlight features.
  • Hidden locations – Restrict access to specific locations while you build out resources and content
  • Video module improvements – Search and filter capabilities to find videos more easily
  • Notification of visitor check-in location – Get notified when your visitor has checked in at another location
  • Translation of workplace management notifications – Break down language barriers when it comes to reservation reminders, visitor check-ins, and other notifications
  • Community Manager role for Appspace SharePoint intranet – A new user role for managing the settings and security of Places (such as Communities and Corporate Sites) without giving access to edit or view content
  • Private authors for Pages and Stories – Grant the same level of access as public authors but remain hidden from public view. Perfect for ghostwritten content.
  • Editor improvements – Greater formatting capabilities within Pages and Stories including accordions, allowing you to expand and collapse portions of your text. Perfect for FAQs and lists with accompanying descriptions.
Collage of images showing digital management tools, notifications, and text editing features. Includes graphics for location check-in, UI improvements, and community management role, with a central illustration of a person using technology.
