The Scorpio release is here, and it’s loaded with dozens of new features and significant enhancements designed to elevate your workplace experience. We’ve focused on three key areas: smarter automation, enhanced employee engagement tools, and deeper integration capabilities. This release will help you cut down on busywork, connect your teams more effectively, and ultimately create a more intelligent and engaging environment for everyone.
With this release, we’re also extending the Appspace Device App support window from six months to nine months to allow customers to better plan, test, and deploy app updates.

Appspace for Zoom Rooms
Turn your meeting room displays into engaging and informative communication channels with Appspace for Zoom Rooms. When the device isn’t being used for presentations or video calls, your playlist content will automatically activate, with room details displayed on top for easy info at a glance so you can connect with your employees, amplify your brand, and keep everyone in the know.

Newsletter Designer
Create engaging, professional newsletters from scratch or from several available templates. Our new Newsletter Designer gives you a flexible, native tool to easily curate, schedule, and deploy email newsletters, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual workarounds or third-party platforms.

Campaigns
Manage and measure your internal communication initiatives with Campaigns. This new module allows you to define clear goals and manage all your campaign content, including emails, pages, and stories, from a single location. With a dedicated analytics dashboard, you can track key performance metrics to understand what’s working, so you can confidently measure the success of your campaigns.

Order Management for Reservation Services
Managing service requests in a separate platform, or even worse, a spreadsheet can be a real pain. Our new order management feature provides a single, centralized view to track and manage all service requests. Now, you can easily see the status of every order, from the moment it’s submitted to when it’s completed. You can also filter and sort orders by date, location, or service type, so you always know exactly what needs to be done.

Space Reservation Metrics Refresh
We’re introducing a major visual refresh of the Space Reservation metrics dashboard. Now, you can get the insights you need faster than ever with clearer charts and more intuitive data layouts. But more importantly, you’ll be able to quickly understand reservation trends, resource usage, and overall booking behavior, helping you make smarter, faster decisions about your workplace.

Document Library Support for SharePoint
Share, collaborate, and access documents with ease by connecting SharePoint libraries directly to Communities, giving your teams a central place to access and manage all their files. Now you can create, edit, rename, move, and organize your files and folders without ever breaking your workflow or switching platforms.

Federated Search Support for ServiceNow
Information silos slowing you down? We’ve enhanced our federated search to support ServiceNow so you can quickly find knowledge articles, ticket history, and more without ever leaving Appspace, helping you resolve issues faster without switching between systems.

Device Map View
You can now visualize your entire device network on an interactive map, down to the floor level with our new device map view. Easily see every device’s location and check its status with clear online/offline indicators for the oversight you need to manage your device fleet.

Global Branding for Cards
Ensure every piece of digital signage content you create aligns with your company’s brand with global branding for cards. Build your cards with the confidence that your logos, colors, and fonts will be applied automatically, saving you a ton of time in the process.

AI Card Translation
Bridge communication gaps with automatic translation of digital signage content created with the AI Card Generator. Create your content once and then display it in multiple translated languages, ensuring your message is accessible and reaches the widest audience.

- Comment activity for user profiles (Appspace for SharePoint) – A private, comprehensive “Comments” section on the user profile page, allowing users to review, manage, and act on all their past comments with full context and accessibility.
- Room-level check-in for Room Booking Card – Enables room-specific check-in on room booking panels, preventing a single check-in from affecting an entire multi-resource reservation.
- 24h clock support – Select your preferred time format, choosing between the familiar 12-hour or 24-hour clock across the platform.
- Active Directory org chart sync – Provides employees with an interactive, visual diagram of the company hierarchy, automatically synchronized from Active Directory, making it easy to understand reporting lines and find colleagues.

- Add visitors to reservations from concierge dashboard – Add new visitors directly within the Concierge view when creating a reservation, standardizing the workflow for meetings with in-person and virtual attendees.
- AI output feedback – A thumbs up/down feedback mechanism for all AI-generated content to gather user preference data for future AI results.
- Additional languages – We’ve added nine new languages to the platform’s user interface, including Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, LatAm Spanish, Greek, and more.
- Conflicted resources in reservations – Improves multi-resource booking conflict resolution to automatically remove only the problem room, ensuring the rest of a user’s reservation remains intact.

- Filters for audio digest widget – Incorporate a custom selection of recent unread posts, specific feeds, or a hand-picked list of curated posts to ensure employees hear the most important information.
- Multi-tag filtering (Appspace for SharePoint) – Extends and standardizes content discovery by applying multiple filters, ensuring a consistent and efficient way for users to discover relevant information across the platform.
- Reservation Services improvements – Concierge teams now have greater control and transparency over service orders with the ability to cancel orders, add essential instructions to orders, and include the status of all orders.
- Editor improvements (Appspace for SharePoint) – Advanced editor functionality like image resizing, structured content blocks, and enhanced table features, ensuring a more collaborative and engaging experience for content creators.
- User presence – Set real-time availability within Appspace, or sync availability status with Microsoft Teams, to facilitate stronger collaboration and connections.

- Rich text & attachments for comments (Appspace for SharePoint) – Enhance communication within comments with text formatting and the ability to directly attach relevant images and files.
- Search suggestions – Optimize search outcomes by configuring keyword ranking rules and pre-search suggestions to ensure critical or high-priority content appears first.
- Multi-factor authentication – Allows non-SSO customers to enhance security with email and text-based verification codes, replacing the former CAPTCHA method.
- Location-based visitor notifications – Customize visitor email notifications for each specific site, ensuring relevance, personalized branding, and location-specific details.
- Show colleagues global setting – Toggle on or off the display of colleague locations on all workplace maps with a new admin setting to comply with company privacy policies.
