As Willdan grew, internal communication became harder to manage. Important updates lived in different places, and employees often had to jump from one webpage to another just to find basic information. What should have taken seconds regularly took minutes.
Messages also didn’t always reach everyone the same way. Office-based teams, remote workers, and hybrid employees all experienced workplace communication differently, which made it harder to reinforce company initiatives and culture. Willdan knew it needed to simplify how information was shared and give employees one clear place to go.

Willdan rolled out Appspace to bring workplace tools and communication together in a single, easy-to-use hub. Instead of logging into multiple systems, employees now start their day in one place — where company news, local updates, and everyday tools live side by side.

Booking a conference room or workspace no longer requires guesswork or back-and-forth emails. Employees can reserve space across offices directly through the app, online, or in Outlook. At the same time, company-wide messages show up consistently on digital signage and the intranet, so teams see the same information whether they’re at a desk, walking through the office, or working remotely.

For Willdan’s communications and workplace teams, this meant fewer workarounds and more confidence that messages were actually being seen.
