For a university with campuses across the U.S., managing communication in a way that felt cohesive yet allowed for local flexibility was no easy task. The institution needed a solution that could handle high-level messaging for the entire university, while still giving individual campuses the freedom to share specific content like event schedules and campus updates.

We partnered with the university’s project team to launch a pilot program at their main Boston campus. Using BrightSign devices, we were able to show how easy it was to deploy and manage content on a centralized platform.

Right from the start, the solution made it simple for corporate-level teams to push university-wide messaging on digital signage. At the same time, local campus communicators could share relevant, location-specific updates.

By the second year, Appspace proved itself as the right choice, and local teams were on board, eager to use the platform for their own communications.

Driving adoption and expanding to new areas of campus life

Over time, the focus shifted to expanding beyond communication displays to integrate conference room signage and room booking.
